3 XS Power S975's, amp racks, bottle mounts and buss bars.

should i start a new thread and post pics of the entire build? I have them posted on my site but i don't think the mods would want me linking up...maybe after the next phase in the build i will since i don't know what i am gonna do next (for sure).

All you need now is a bunch of 18 year old kids to stand around your car and say "wow dude that's rad man"

I have my sub facing forward also. I have not done the sound deadning as of yet. But right now I hear very little if any rattle. The sub sounds great now. I went with more of a SQ system, yours looks like it will more SPL.

Will you replace your HU or keep it factory. I kept mine factory.

so car audio is only for 18yr olds? I know lots of people who are 30+ who love car audio. Whats your prob? You seem like a real d#ckhead.

if you didn't isolate the cabin from the trunk, you might as well aim it backwards. They just don't sound that good until you do so. If you think it sounds good, its probably because you don't know any better. If you don't isolate, its almost pure cancellation. Isolating stops the cancellation. It probably don't sound too bad but i bet its FAR from what it could be.

Oh, FYI: My system isn't SPL, it will be SQ with some extra throttle. Not sure how 1 15" woofer is automatically "SPL" only.

No, i am not taking the factory headunit out, that thing controls the climate and a bunch of other stuff....i have never seen or heard of anyone removing one for an aftermarket.

Your reply is quite snobbish, but whatever it's your thread.

I've seen isf's with additional hunits installed. They keep the factory unit for the climate.
I said spl because of the amount of batteries and amps. I'm sorry for putting you in he spl category. Please don't bite my head off for assuming wrong.

I'll be second skinning mine this summer. Are you gonna do your whole car or just certain spots like the trunk and door panels.

its snobbish why? because i didn't use enough smiley faces?
does that make you feel better? Sorry for hurting your feelings bro.

Show me one pic of one ISF with an aftermarket headunit. Curious to see where they put it. Glove box? lol, might as well keep the factory unit.....sounds extremely silly. The only way that doesn't sound ridiculous is if that person bought the ISF without the touchscreen/navi setup. I could buy your story then. Even if its true, lets see it, i am curious.

a 200 shot on factory ECU tuning? i am at 100 and nervous about it. Hows it taking it? Is 200 crazy compared to 100 or what? I noticed a big difference between 75 and 100.

There's a few ISx50's that have put in head-units. I am not sure what term to search for, but if you're really interested, you could start looking in that section.

Also, there's some JDM company that makes a trim kit that goes where the AC vents are. It's really freaking ugly.
