UPDATE: the T5's sound AMAZING!!!! The kicks aren't hooked up until tomorrow and i still have the rear doors to do, but that will be easy. Man i LOVE THIS SYSTEM and its not even tuned yet at all, just barely crossed over with "starting point" xover settings.

it came a long way in the last 9 weeks - and i still have a trunk!

is there any way i can get a mod to change the title of this thread to "Complete sound system install Lexus ISF" or something like that? Its gone a little further then just a 15 in the trunk

Steve.... LOOKS AMAZING! do you think one of those tweeters would fit in the OEM spot up on the door by the window? Also, Is your left foot going to dirty/scuff up the awesome kick plate enclosure you made on the driver's side? I know you don't track your car, but on track days for my my left foot is PLANTED firmly in that spot!

Do notice a difference in power with the added weight?

thanks again guys!!! and no, i didn't really notice the weight difference at all. I don't track my car, i just drive it and enjoy it. Just driving around town, on freeways, on/off ramps etc, S-curves.......no difference. I did have to raise it up 1/8" though from the weight. Its a little over 300lbs. Its really not too much different then having a passenger (an overweight one lol) in the car, except he is in the trunk for better traction .

i can't say enough about the way the mids and highs sound......this car is finally awake (in the stereo dept.). Not just big bass......this is based around Sound Quality, with some extra throttle when i wanna "bump" a little. Its sounds amazingly clean though right now and the 8's in the kick panels won't be playing until today or tomorrow. I just put a set of T5's in the rear doors yesterday.

thanks again everyone!

Amazing work my friend! I like how clean it looks in the trunk now. The F with the blue lights, I thought was a good idea, but everything looks simple and neat this way. Props to you again!

thanks man! and FYI: the blue lights are still there. What you are looking at are covers. They come off when its show time and for daily driving/usage, they stay on.

Will you be doing any sound competitions? Try to make some money off the system

are the covers pressure fit? How do they hold with all that bass coming from the subs? Are those two tweeters put into the factory 6.5" door location? Love the updates on this steve!
