Great document showing all the cars that have been around the TopGear (UK) test track and how they performed.

The Lexus IS-F went round in Season 12 with a time of 1:26.90 - worth noting that given we are on Season 18 this would have been the launch 2008 model with no LSD or the suspension changes.

The car performs very nicely IMO and is right in there with some of the best cars out there. When comparing cross-ref with the top to see if the car was performing in the wet etc. when the time was set.

Anyway enjoy the scrutinizing!

With the LSD on the newer model it will be a little quicker than the M3.

Not one to toot my own horn, but the revised F will be significantly quicker than the M3 around that track. There are several fairly slow turns on that track and that's where the torque of the F will rein supreme!

I'd love to see the new one go round; even before it was only fractions of seconds off some very high profile cars. With the changes it could well be severely pounding some very big names out there.
