Hi guys, well I have a 2010 SGM ISF that was involved in an accident in FEB, got t-boned on the side and repairs came out to $17,000. I had a thread a while back but anyways I started to notice that my car seems to jerk back and forth a lot and I searched through the forums and found something that sounded the most familiar to my problem, which was a metallic clicking noise coming from the axel? Also, when I left off the gas and I accelerate suddenly, (not flooring, just putting my foot back on the gas) my car makes a clunking noise. Not too sure whats causing the problem, is it having coilovers/exhaust, or due to the accident? What would you guys think. Should I just take my F to the dealer and show the sales rep? Thanks guys!

is it having coilovers/exhaust
Have one of your parents bring it in to the dealer and have it looked over. At worst they will tell you its caused by something else..at best they will lube up the axle splines.

Parents originally bought me a lifted silverado, and the F just laid around so I started to drive it, then the next thing I knew, I started to mod the F so my parents just gave it to me. LOL.

Oh god we have a bunch of spoiled kids in here....
No disrespect to the spoiled ones but if they really bought cars themselves they wouldn't be LOLing throughout the repair process.
Since you got the car for free, what avgj0F said.....trade it in.... for a Lambo though

Do your parents adopt more kid? I would like to be on that list. JK. Anyway, how bad was the damage? If it got to the frame and bend things up and the shop did not pull it correctly and try to bend the control arm to make the wheels align then that would be a huge issue. I would highly recommend bringing your dad with you to the dealer or a good body shop and have them take a look at the car. Worse case is that you should take mod parts out and sell it then get a clean one, because if they pull the frame it becomes very weak. So the next time you get T bone, it will be fatal. Have you seen car split in haft after an accident? It might happen.

Come on guys..really? I would do same for my son if I felt so..I have friends went to school with and they were driving gallardos, vipers, etc to school...technically you can argue but they are kin and just as entitled to their "inheritance" whether they output effort or not...emotions and jealousy can be sucky but get over it lol...But, im sure yall are kidding right ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Anywho, yea bro unfortunately do to our "society" even as shown in this thread your age may affect your outcome greatly bc they see no "due power" or "threat" to their business because of age initially...So just bring your father in and if the modifications were installed correctly, professionally, and have no direct affect on your problems im sure the dealer will help you..If run into any issues im sure you can do your reasearch, and/or reply on the forum and many will be glad to give feedback or input
...PS age may only define wisdom and time, but doesnt part take in what you cannot acheive..do your thing bro..I purchased my first house, lexus and corvette at 21.. yeah I worked for it, but at same time everyone else thought it had to do with some form of illegal drug money..people with believe as they will...
