He actually does not even enter the Dragon until 7:58 into the video when he passes the deals gap store on the right,

You can see what an IS on the 318 turns in 11 miles is like. You cannot be too low or you will scrape the heck out of your car.

CL should do a LEXUS on the Dragon!!

It's really funny you posted this. Over the last couple of days I've really been itching to take my 350 to the Dragon.

 

that screeching on turns is pretty crazy... also crazy is the fact that a passenger held the camera for 18:13 minutes hahaha time for them to invest in a go pro and suction that to the window like i do :P

 

Im actually going later this year... Cant wait!

 

I wish GOPRO would hurry up with their WIFI bakpac.

Getting tired of getting out of my car to turn it off and on. I run a tow hook mount on My MINI.

You will LOVE the dragon! Just be careful, the one rule that I would say follow and follow closely...DO NOT cross the yellow line! EVER! It's very dangerous because of the blind turns. Don't ever get comfortable and feel like...there's no one coming, I'll just cut this corner. Just DON'T do it!!

Ive taken my bike there once and had a blast. The Dragon is awesome

 

We actually did it every year most of the 2000s but stopped the last 3 years.

 

I LOVE the Dragon...both on my Busa and my former M3. I am going for a mountain run with some of my old M bro's just to see the limits of my IS250 before I do the full suspension mods! Nice find! Like that video...I agree GoPro is a wise investment lolz

 

I tried to set up a CL Dragon Trip and had blocked off 40+ rooms at the hotel etc.....

Had 1 one member show up.

I do a spring and fall trip every year. I always stay at Fontana Village. Just rent a cabin.

If there's enough intrest I'll set one up in the fall 12', maybe late summer.

 

At 12 minutes plus, that car makes a lot of strange noises.

 

If my car made half the metallic noises that thing makes I would be very worried. Other than that though great fun video!

 

Well in the comments on the youtube page it says the noise is from the wheels rubbing on the fender lining and that he had 3 passengers and a trunk full of luggage... sounded more mechanical but its hard to tell from the audio of these point and shoot cameras

I have been meaning to go down to the Dragon ever since I moved to KY almost 6 years ago. I think a CL trip would be a great excuse to go as long as I'm not traveling for work.
