The one thing I like about this car is it is still somewhat a stocker. Yes it may have different shock/springs and brakes with aero but from what I understand essentially standard motor, gearbox, diff and suspension geometry.

Not a full on shell with completely different race gear under the skin.

Looks like the guys on the other side of the guard rail are a step backwards from falling off a cliff! I'm sure it wasn't though or at least I hope not.

You may need to go aftermarket bud. Those are really expensive pieces.

As far as we know this is the only one that exists in the US. Lexus would love to know if you want them to bring over all these CCS-R inspired parts. So ISF owners, time to speak up!

  • The ISF CCS-R will stick around for a while, attending some racing events in the coming months. The next event should be in early July, and ClubLexus will continue to bring you all the coverage. We're also working on a few potential events so some local members can see the vehicle up close!

  • Remember, Lexus is interested to know what you think of the car and the TRD parts--they'll only know what to bring over to the US if we tell them!

Let's DISCUSS....!!!!!!

~ Joe Z
Thought I would resurrect this thread rather than start a new one to try and pick back up the discussion of the CCS-P version TRD parts. Is anyone aware or seen this Lexus car in person? Does it still exist?

Wanted to see what actions may be taken or if there are any updates on possible importation.

I REALLY like his hood. Has anyone seen or could posibbly get access to this car to take pics or describe what the underside of the hood looks like? full skeleton in CF or FRP? Underhood liner? Rain guards and/or vent surrounds to capture and funnel the air out? inquiring minds want to know!!

Wtih the Yen exchange rate getting "better" (today - 93.46) it is only semi-unaffordable.

It's been about a month since I've been back in LA, but when I was there over the holidays it was still sitting out in front of TMS in Torrance (where that picture was taken).
