Hi all,

Any news or word if Cusco ever made a front strut bar that clears the engine cover for the IS-F? Been looking around and couldn't find anything.

Yes , it does. Made for ISF , and it clear engine cover.

 

So where can we buy one and how much ???

 

There are vendors here that sell them 200$ to 300$ range.

 

It's the same one for ISx50. It fits and works all the same. Just ordered mine for $200.

Message b2designs. He can get the cusco rear and front strut bars. He has the rears in stock, but the front will take a few weeks to arrive. The only problem is that there was an issue with the front strut bar rubbing against the engine cover, since it was made for the is250/350. A member on here tested out a prototype version, made for the IS-F last year and said it would come out early 2012.

Hopefully someone has more insight on this.

Do you a notice a difference in the ride with the strut brace?

 

you won't really feel a difference in ride with the tower bar unless you are tracking your car...for the most part its cosmetics imo...i already have the gt spec one and it looks exactly like the cusco one..

 

That is the actual ISF version? Do you happen to know the part number?

 

I emailed Cusco and they said they didn't have a specific ISF front sturt bar. And I would need spacers. Maybe it was someone that didn't know. But she gave me part numbers for the rear and front strut bars to use.

i talked to Cusco when i was at toyotafest and he said the strut tower is the same for the isx50 and isf. They made a prototype for the ISF but never produced it. He said just use the isx50 strut bar and use spacers to clear the engine cover. I was going to get this bar but i dont know where to buy spacers.
