Bought my F specifically because my commute went from a 2 mile bus ride to a 60 mile a day drive. For the most past I get to cruise between 60 and 80, so it's nice to have the car feeling right at home. And yes my 08 has only 15k miles and those miles are racking up pretty quickly, but that's the point of having a car you enjoy. It's to drive it. What's the point of driving a beater if you were looking for a fun and exciting drive. And I could've gotten a 5 series for the same amount of money and probably wouldn't feel as bad about racking up the miles. But it still costs the same, yet not as fun to drive. So for me, the F makes a great daily. Only thing that I suspect differs for me as compared to some of you...I am perfectly content keeping the car 100% stock.

I use my F as a daily driver but I dont commute as far as you guys do in the states. I believe to and from work im right around 10-15 miles and I drive her 5 days outta the week and occasionally when the wifey wants to take the IS-F instead of her IS350 F-Sport around places...

I daily mine as well, but I only drive 10 miles each way. I drove my IS250 every day last week and it seemed forever to get to work.

Another daily driven ISF here.. Day and night, rain or snow. Now I've got an Audi RS2 and it's going to take the daily duty from F. The F will be a night-time toy.. like this:

Too bad my weekend car is a non-descriptive SUV, with wife and two kids on board.

I love driving my IS-F but i'll be damned if it were my only car to and from work... Then again if I didnt have my civic to take me to and from to the gym, I probably be racking in 25-30 miles a day and I sure as hell aint gonna let my baby go through that kinda abuse LOL

Oh this is my 100th post yay me ! I aint no rookie anymore... okay im done... thanks

I drive mine daily and do about 18 miles, round-trip during the work week. The car does everything it needs to do well, and I've had 0 issues. Can't speak highly enough about it.

I have a friend that uses an M3 as a daily. We've taken it up to Bishop to go fishing, some slight offroading to hit some fishing spots. He's really proud of that.

I agree. I drive it almost 20 miles everyday--7,000+ miles per year. On nasty winter days in PA, I take the RX and constantly reach for the paddle shifters.

In a few years, it will be broken in for the next owner. Right now, I plan on buying another F.

Drive it!
