Who uses their is (f) as a daily driver?
Driving 75-90 miles a day sucks. About to lower my car and add a couple more mods. Time to get a beater as a daily. Anyone else here drive a lot of miles daily for work?
2006 is350 running on 90k miles. Jealous of the guys under 60k haha. I love this car too much I just want to let it sit in the garage and not expose it to the sun.

My car is a daily driver through wind, snow, rain.
I did the "garage queen" and "daily driver" thing myself and I got tired of taking care of two cars (three including my wife's). If you truly buy a "beater" then you will spend more money in maintenance/insurance than you would just driving your F around, and when you are in the beater you will be wishing you were in your F. I bought the F used so that if something happened to it, I wouldn't be too emotionally attached.
I also have a motorcycle, and I was torn on driving the "garage queen" or the motorcycle on nice, sunny days.

I use mine as a daily driver, for the most part. I still have my old Mazda 6, but I am in the process of selling that. As soon as that's gone, it will be my daily driver.

I drove my 98 Integra as my daily while I was a senior in college until I started working 2 years ago and decided it was time to upgrade. It only gave me minor issues (stuck caliper, master/slave clutch cylinder, thermostat, blower motor), each of which barely cost me $100 to fix. The car has had barely any issues besides regular oil changes, so I said why sell it? And I still use it as my daily (4 miles to the bus station for work & back).
Since May 2011 my ISF has been a weekend/nice weather car and I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm too paranoid to park it at the bus stop due to door dings, possible vandalism, and getting swiped. I want the F to remain in the condition it was in when I bought it.
Even with all this I have driven it over 8k miles in the year I've had it.

I drive my F monday through friday in stop in go traffic (Fremont to Oakland) 25 miles each way so 50 miles a day. I drive her on the weekends too, but I'd rather take our infiniti because of our daughter has more room in the back, wife has more room in the front seat. BUT, I'll take the F out on weekends if I get that bug in my system and want to do some spirited driving

Daily driven 2008 ISF here since 2009. Purchased back in 2009 with 19k miles, currently at 61k miles.
Issues that were resolved under warranty:
- NAV touchscreen did not respond
- Water pump leak
- Intrumentation panel tach needle LED went dead.
- Leather on door panels "bubbled" or became unglued.
- Rear view mirror vibration
Vehicles are meant to be driven and enjoyed, especially ones marketed as "performance." Besides my occasional complaint of a rough/bouncy ride, the ISF is enjoyable. Good balance between performance/reliability/maintenance costs/exclusivity.
