Bondango,
You can get an account on TIS that I msged you so you can get the whole manual apparently. Now when you get access... Make sure when you get access for 2 days you use something like this http://www.httrack.com/ to ensure that you "back up" the pages so that you can access them when you **go out to the garage to work on the car**
Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if the TIS includes the TSRM I found this
http://www.uobd2.com/wholesale/mvci-...dice-1824.html
It has an older version of the TIS 7.1 or something which is up to 2010 model cars... It would seem you can do this offline looks like somewhere in china this was copied.

Thanks Eric will defo look into that man!!
Its a real shame that someone in this thread has the actual information and wouldnt share it. basically they put the carrot in front of the nose and left it hanging so to speak.
I have been tuning toyota and lexus cars for over 20 years, and Forums grew to be a great source of open souce knowledge - through shared information. I guess maybe the newer generation just dont get that community spirit and how it works..
Anway thanks to those who have helped with the positive comments, the battle will continue.

You're in for a serious uphill battle with this engine separated from the factory ECM.
The EWD is available through TIS. You'll also want to read and digest the entire New Car Features manual for the 2008 MY. There's a wealth of data there. It's the only source of good documentation, but it won't take you to the level you'll need. You're still going to have to do a lot of pioneering.
After I injured my neck and lost the ability to safely heel/toe I thought about this swap, but I'd do it with the 8 speed in place. The V-160 is a stout gearbox, but it's really not the slickest shifting gearbox out there. The paddle shift in the F is very hard to beat - you'll need a DCT to do better from a speed perspective, but you can't beat the AA80E from a reliability perspective with stock power. It would be pretty sweet to have smart key functionality on the Supra as well.
Just a small piece of advice - if the information you are asking someone to provide is proprietary or copyright Lexus, any discussion of violating the copyright or using pirated versions will be deleted with prejudice. It's part of the forum rules, and the rules exist to protect the forum from legal action by the copyright holders. Please keep this in mind when asking for information.
