JoeZ Intake + ISS Forged DES + PPE Headers = Sound Test
I got my car back from JM Lexus today and I'm impressed! Before getting into details I have to thank JC Damion at JM Custom Creations for such a professional, smooth and friendly experience. I'm glad they installed my headers, they've earned my business and even though it's quite a long drive, I'll be going there from now on for my car's needs.
Back to the headers, the first thing that people do after getting the headers installed is filming the car being hammered... and I'll do the same but not on this thread... LOL. Many people ask about how loud the car gets after headers, so if you're wondering this is the thread for you.
These videos were filmed hours ago right after leaving JM Lexus. Temperature outside was ~93F so I had the A/C on and windows were rolled up. My car is a 2012 ISF with 5k miles, JoeZ intake, ISS Forged DES exhaust, and PPE headers.
Crusing at low speed on full auto:
Passing a car on full auto
Slow acceleration from a stop on full auto
Mild acceleration on full auto
Accelerating on full auto
Revving the engine
Quick acceleration on M mode
As other members have reported, after-headers at WOT is quieter than pre-headers. At idle and low rpms the car sounds (and feels) like a big muscle car! It sounds a bit louder than the custom exhaust but with the same note. Performance-wise there is a great improvement, once you push the car it feels like a runaway freight train!!! I'll be posting more videos soon.

What I had on my previous ISF was the muffler/cat delete, not the QES. My current setup compared to the old ISF is deeper at low RPMs but quieter at WOT or higher RPMs. At low RPM it rumbles like a big V8, but once you push it the car screams like a race car, not like Nascar but like those european/australian touring cars.
