Can anyone comment on 18x10 +40 all around? Saw 1 or 2 people running this earlier in the thread but wanted to see if anyone else can comment on running this size on stock suspension. Planning to run 18x10 +40 Hankook RS3 with this set up. Just wondering if there's going to be major fender mods for this set up.
I'll try and snap a photo of rear wheel concaveness and upload it.
can you take a pic down the side of the car so we can see how well the " safe"or "plug n play " offsets fill the fenders. I am looking at the same sizes and offsets to play it safe but I think I am willing to run the car to a body shop to have the fenders rolled . I want a wider set up, although this looks great and will be good in case you want to drop the car down the line
I am looking to get some new wheels for my bday. Have been trying to see what would bee needed to fit this set up " aggressive setup"
19x9.5 ET40 5x114.3
19x10.5 ET35 5x114.3
Will fenders need to be rolled?? Any issues clearing in front. This is the aggressive set up. I was alos offered this as a safe set up
19x8.5 ET35 5x114.3
19x9.5 ET45 5x114.3
was planning on running a 245/35 and 275/30 or ideally the 255/35 and 295/30 in rear.
Any thoughts recommendations or warning would be appreciated
Based on what I have seen or read, I think once you go to 10.5 in the rear - you are going to need at least a roll no matter what the ET or tire size (unless you run some crazy stretch) you run.
I too am trying to find a more aggressive (than stock) fitment without having to do any fender mods.
VMR offers the V810 in
19x8.5 ET35
19x9.5 ET40
with a 245/275 setup this might fit without rubbage.

I was thinking of maybe doing the Forgestarts 19x9.5 and 19x11 with hugh custom offsets like +45 and +55
Here's a pic of my 19x11 +60 offset with 295 PSS. Had to roll only the inner skin of the fender lip. I also cut all the studs that hold the fender liner flush with the nuts just in case I decide to lower the car some more. No rubbing.
Took nearly a year to piece these together since they're discontinued ... ended up grabbing three floor samples at three different shops, and a single used one from europe.
Volk SF Challenges 19x8.5 +32 / 245/35/19 -- 19x9.5+36 265/30/19
Only rub a little at full lock when on an incline. Zero rubbing on flats
I was looking into getting some wheels, they offer multiple sizes and offsets was curious which setup would be ideal. They have 19x8 +35, 19x9 +30, 19x9.5 +39, 19x10.5 +27. I wanted to do 19x9.5 +39 in the front and 19x10.5 +27 in the rear But wasn't sure they would fit seeing as the rears are low. Website recommends 19x8 +35 19.9.5 +39. Also what would be biggest tire i can fit w.o rubbing or much work.

I am loving the way these fit. I am going to be ordering Forgestar wheels in a week or two. Going to do 19x11 with a +60 in the rear as well. What are you running in the front? I was going to run a 19x9.5+40 but I think I want to go even higher like +45 or even +47-48 because I am thinking of running a 255/35 in front or even 265/35. I don't plan on dropping the car so I want to stuff as much rubber under the car as is humanly possible. I like the looks of the wide fat tires and I am going with wheels that offer custom offsets so I can go as wide as possible without doing more than rolling fenders .
Itsmejon- I'm currently at 19x8.5+23 245/35 front and 19x9.5+24 275/35 rear, the rear fenders need to be rolled even on stock suspension (I'm -.75" now on coils all around at full hard on dampening) with 2 passengers it rubbed lika sob, but prior it was just over big bumps at higher speeds. The fronts are fine though, recommend the figs flca bushings though, I gotta press to do em and a spare rear bracket if you wanna do it with minimal downtime by a exchange of your bracket.

Thanks!
I'm running 9.5" +47 in front with 245/35. That might be as high as you'd want to go with 9.5". They're pretty close to the aluminum hub carrier already but not touching. I wanted the fronts to be as sunked in as possible. You should still be perfect with +40 though, gonna be close to, if not flushed to fender lips, may even stick out by a hair or so I imagine.
Thanks!

Thanks sooo much for the response man. I appreciate it. I want to play it safe so maybe I will stick with the +45 in front an +60 in the rear. I would like to do 255/35/19 in front and 295/30 in the rear with stock ride height. Do you think this will work . I really dont care about flush fitment. I just want to get it to fit without drama. I can roll fenders if needed but the wheel guy is telling me I will not need to with the stock height .
You car is one of the best looking I have seen here because you run the right sizes and diamters .The 245/257 is obviously smaller in the rear than the front. Loos strange to me in some shots. I like fat wide tires
