For everyone running a 10 or 10.5 rear without rubbing or flares or heavy body modifications, where is a good place to find wheels besides fitment industries(nothing against them just didn’t see much of high offsets) and i would prefer to stay at a 19” wheel.
and i read up on the bore and backspacing specs, but a lot of this stuff I’m not great with, if someone can pm me how to determine what would work and simplify the math for me I would be grateful. A lot of nice set ups in here, hoping to get on that level.
and any input on preference on tire companies, profiles and compounds that have done you heavy tracking/daily driver guys (car use for double duty) is also welcomed, pm or a link to a covered thread, would hate to dig up old news that’s been covered 200 million times, I didn’t see anything but I will go and use some different verbiage to make sure I didn’t overlook anything.
Rays G25 19x8.5 +35 19x9.5 +42 or 45 245/35/19 and 265/35/19
would love a 19x10.5 set up with 285s, worries about having it fit right depending on what wheel I figured out would fit with no rub. Hence the previous where to find them (high offset +45-6010.5) online request
need to double check, didn’t buy them, traded a friend since they wouldn’t clear his car (pretty sure lower offset would of helped for the rear, hit his suspension.
As stated, didn’t buy the wheels so wasn’t 100% on the specs. Car was in and out for inspection after failing for different aftermarket items and not having stress and safety test results documented.
19x9 front 38 offset 245/35/19
19x10.5 40 offset just picked up some ad08s 275/35/19. Lowered a touch, every rear arm is adjustable and I have a bit of camber for when I track, need to adjust it a bit but no shaving rolling pulling or modifications to the quarter skins. Sits a little inside the wheel well. Fronts are spot on.
Now to get rid of this cwest kit for some better styling

How is this so? All aftermarket pieces in the rear suspension? OEM only has adjustable toe.

Yes, only put the Oem lower control arms back on for inspection. Every other piece that attaches to the hub is adjustable. Even so no issues with stock lengths and camber/caster.
Which trunk spoiler is that in the last picture? I know it's Wald but wondering if it's a replica or not because I've been looking for one...lol. Looks good.
Back for my daily post trying to figure out what setup I want. I've gone through so many ideas so I thought I would compile them here for some insight. Currently on stock 08 wheels and stock suspension. This car is my daily and probably won't be seeing much, if at all, track time. Here are my ideas:
Square 18" setup: 18x10 +45 wheels, 275/35/18 all around.
Square 19" setup: 19x9.5 wheels, 275/30/19 all around. Unsure of what offset would be best.
Staggered 19" setup: 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear. 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear. Unsure of what offset would be best.
Thoughts I'm having about each setup:
Square 18" setup: I like the meaty look, but after a lot of consideration I'm afraid the wheels will look a tad too small for the car. Upsetting because I really like TE37SLs, but they don't have many options as 19"s. Bigger sidewall as well.
Square 19" setup: Would still be able to rotate tires, and would probably be better for handling/understeer. Keep the good look of 19" wheels. Downside is that the sidewalls are pretty thin. Not sure what exact sizes would be best here for stock suspension and no fender modifications.
Staggered 19" setup: Can't rotate tires, but would be easier to fit everything.
Please feel free to give me any insight, as this is driving me crazy thinking about it all haha.
