rear 19x9.5 40et (285/30/19)
Rear quarter panels needed a roll and pull.
Approximately how much lower than stock height in the rear?
Your opinion on whether 275/30R19 tire on those rear wheels (40mm offset) would need rear quarter panel work for clearance? Figuring typical 275/30R19 is 10mm narrower and 0.2-0.3in smaller diameter than 285/30R19.

Idk how low I am but I can tell you I’m really low. My front bumper without a lip is as low or lower then people I’ve seen at meets. 275/30/19 will be far to short height wise to the stock diameter. Even with that tire you would still need a roll for sure idk about needing to pull the panels.

Default 265/30r20 Front?

Looking for advice. Didn't see anyone running this tire size. I'm at stock height running 20's. The front wheel is a 20x9 w 32 offset. I had 245/35's but they rubbed a little so I went down to a 245/30 and that was way to small. Looking at either a 255/30 or 265/30 on the front. Just want to know if anyone has run a 255/30 or 265/30 in a 20 with the same offset. Thank you.

Stock suspension? No pulling or rubbing?

Yes stock suspension and no fender mods. No rubbing except front right catches the grille vent in the wheel well liner when reversing with wheel turned full lock to the left. This can be fixed with a heat gun to gain more clearance.

I think I know which way I'm going now with width and offset. Just trying to figure out if I can do this with 18" and which ones....

Read through this thread, tons of great information. Just want a quick gut check. Found a deal locally on some new SSR GTX01s. Its a 18x9.5 +40 square set up. My BIGGEST concern is being able to have a nice square set up with no fender/quarter panel mods. Looking like a 265/35/18 tire will be ok? Or should I go with a 255/40/18?
Also, I am running the HKS Hipermax coils but all i've done is drop the front a smidge so its level. Thoughts?

You may have some slight rubbing in the front but I don't think it will be anything to worry about.

Hard to say for 100% though... lots of factors that come into play, especially since you are lowered on aftermarket suspension. Wouldn't stop me from moving forward though.

I'm running 18x9.5 +45 with 275s square lowered on Ohlins and it does rub in the front some but not bad enough for me to be concerned. 265s would rub even less.

To be fair, I'm fairly surprised that I rubbed the inner fender liner (the top of the wheel) on hard dips with the stock wheels/tire.

But you dont rub rears at all? (Someone not into cars would think that question is wierd)

I think youll be good.

I have the same suspension and only lowered 3/4 inch in the front and 1/4 inch in the rear with 275/35 18x9.5 +35 with slight rubbing in the front at full turn lock and it did rub on slight bumps in the rear until I had the fenders rolled flat. Now it only rubs in the rear on really hard bumps.

265 you shouldnt rub at +40 offset but it also depends on what tire you are running. Some 265 tires run as wide as other 275 tires

Some more nosy questions....Do you know if it rubs on inner or outer shoulder? Only at full lock, or sometimes less than full lock if on a bump? What tires are you running? I am getting the impression vs other observations that 275/35R18 on 18x9.5 ET45 is a close fit up front...

My rears are modified but I don't think your proposed setup would require that.

I think it rubs in the middle oddly enough and mostly only at full lock... though I don't go over many hard bumps so very possible it does/would there too. Hankook RS4s. I don't think its *that* close... there are definitely people running more aggressive still with minimal issues. I was running a square 19x10 +38 setup with 275s before this and it definitely rubbed more but I still wasn't really concerned.

Howdy guys,

Looking at winter set. Have pre-existing 255/35/19 Nokian Hakka tires.

Wondering if Id fit with 19x19.5 et35 aftermarket wheels square set up.

Lowered on coils.

Thanks

255's on a 19.5 wide wheel should be pretty interesting

assuming you meant a 9.5 wide wheel, tire will fit on the wheel (255 will have a slight stretch on 9.5 wheel) and a 19x9.5 +35 with a 255/35 should be fine in the rear and probably be possible in the front... and while I say it will all fit, I wouldn't call it an ideal winter set up. But I'm in California where winter doesn't happen, so what do I know.

If you're the type of person who is against fender rolling or modifications and cannot handle any rubbing, then no... it won't fit... bc you'll prob have some rubbing in the front.
