U guys keep saying GTR have u driven one ? is stiff as hell and definitely is not a daily drive car. If i want a GTR i would got one long time ago. Iam an ISF for life but if the opportunity represent itself i'll get 458 Italia for a weekend warrior. Dont have to be new just slightly used

If I keep my ISF for a while, then my next vehicle will probably be either a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel or a Ram 1500 diesel (either 2014 or 2015). If I decide to move away from the ISF in the next year or two, I will likely buy an ATS-V when they come out. That thing will be a monster and very tunable regardless of whether they go with a V8 or TTV6.

You don't have to tell me twice, I looked at used 360's before I had driven the F430 or bought the F and pretty much closed the door on that one after I looked at what the annual cost of ownership on one is. It ranged from 5 - 15k a year depending on the mileage. If i'm going to be spending that kind of money on my car it better be on go fast parts, not just keep it running parts.

I mentioned Porsche GT3 earlier but it's not as rare as the Rossion Q1. I saw an orange one at Cars and Croissants last month. Perfect blend of luxury and speed, plus rarity.

A few specs:
0-60 in 3.1 secs
11.3 qtr mile stock
Curb Weight: 2480lb

^^^Yeah but how reliable is that thing? (btw, I've never even heard about or seen one of those things) I'm pretty sure most of us here as Lexus owners at one point or another THOUGHT about reliability when they made their decision to buy an IS F over __________ (whatever car)

A Porsche GT3 is probably the only "supercar"/"race car" (yeah, we can have that debate somewhere else), that you can drive and live with daily.

the motor for the Rossion is a 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo built by Ford. Kinda like the Lotus Elise/Exige engine built by Toyota.

With that said...my IS F will hit 94k miles at the end of this month. I'm debating on selling her off early, as I start my journey to find a late model Porsche 911 (996) GT3. Or if the right deal comes around, a Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS. 996s run for about 50k-60k, and 997s run around 95k and up.

Part of me wants to keep the IS F, but she's getting old. Parts of me even think about selling the IS F off and going old school and picking up a Porsche 911 (964) or look for a E30 1st gen M3. That way if i dump money into the car, it's actually going to be worth something.

HMMM...what to do...?

Obviously, you can see I love Porsches.
Get the 996 GT3 already. I know you will like more than the F. Ive always like Porshe. I just dont know if I can drive it everyday. When I drive a car I always drive it everyday. Just like my NSX and RX7 until both crap out. I dont buy a car to drive just to buy coffe.

One thing I do worry about with the GT3 is sometimes I have to transport rolls of paper that are 54" long. I can do that in the IS F by putting it in the back seat....Might have to stick it out of the window if i got a GT3

I drove my E30 today because it was raining and I didn't want to get the IS F wet...LOL. I wish I had an E30 M3....that'd be so legit. But even my old E30, with its needs-to-be-replaced-but-I'm-too-lazy-to-replace-and-not-sure-if-I'm-going-to-keep-the-car suspension, it's still is a blast to drive.
