Made a buddy feel bad about his S5.

Playing in the rain is no joke. I'll let the S5 wrap itself around a tree while I back off. On top the awd suffers on hwy runs and thats where these cars shine.

I have a 2009. 13,800mi
I have really liked the S5 since they first came out. I needed something with 4-doors though. Factor in Lexus reliability over Audi's and it was an easy choice.
Well yeah. Is that car even out yet? I'd love to test drive one, though I bet the MSRP will be at least $10K more than the IS-F.

RS5 is not (and AFAIK won't come) to the US, so most of us don't have it as an option. I love the S5, it's a great looking car, one of the best on the road. Inside is as good as outside, great interior, perfect distribution of controls and everything. Power-wise is not on par with its look. I tested drove one before getting my last ISF and left the Audi dealer unimpressed.

If MSRP is nearly $70K, getting one optioned similarly to my IS-F would probably be $75K+ new. I think they'll probably have trouble selling many of those to anyone except Audi enthusiasts, though I'm pretty sure aesthetically it will look better than the IS-F, M3 or C63.
I'd be interested to see the torque figures too. It may actually not be that much faster than the IS-F at all around a track or in a straight line.

4.2 liters and 450 hp means it's a short stroke, high revving engine with less torque than the larger displacement competitors. Engine arithmetic isn't too difficult...

Were so bad ***. lol
The S5 was the car I was looking for before I bought the ISF. Dealers wouldn't let me drive one though. Eventually I got turned off by the anemic engine specs. Very pretty car though!
