any tips to help me get my wife to start modding and tuning her car. She has a 2011 Volkswagen GTI and has soo many more options than the IS-F does but she won't let me touch her car besides to take care of maintenance and fill it with gas

It's just something that she has to have the interest for. If you haven't already try taking her to car shows. It's nice when you can sit down and look at cars together and talk about cars,performance,parts and so on.

Trust me I know that feeling to well. My car is in the shop and when it comes out I have to install her headers which will probably take me a few days.
