I vote for August 11-12 also. I stayed in Holiday Inn Express in Down Town, but there's no room available on the weekends for the next 3 weeks.

LOL....dude...that's a lot of us in one room. If that's the case I might get my own room. I like to walk around naked. ARe there even any Marriotts in Santa Barbara? There aren't any Hiltons

August 11 it is. If anyone is Interested for a drive to the canyons and sight seeing we can go to Solvang, CA. Its about 30 miles north from Santa Barbara and driving through the canyons in Lake Cachuma.

BTW...just checked...no Marriotts in Santa Barbara...

There's a Hampton Inn (owned by Hilton), in Goleta (city next to Santa Barbara. About 5 miles from State street...which is most likely where we're gonna hang out at night...$239 a night. Should we care about staying at the same hotel together or whatever?

I run out of points in Holiday Inn. So I have only Hilton left. The closest one is in Goleta about 8 miles away. There's a Double Tree resort close to the pier.

So would there be plans to BBQ Sunday or something? More then likely I would bring my wife and baby unless I get a baby sitter and come join Saturday night.
