I m interested in how this custom setup turns out.

This is exactly what I wanted to do when I was doing my muffler/cat delete. I wanted to replace the rear y crushed part with a new section and straight pipes. The muffler shop quoted me a price close to what the DES system costs.....I ended up with the DES down the road, better design, bigger pipes, and an x pipe!
