Problem is I don't want the dealer to avoid my warranty. If i end up having a blown engine, worst case I will pay to have a shop put my original headers back on and have the warranty cover the cost of engine replacement.

I would be hesitant as well.. once your in the system that you have headers it will be in the national database and all lexus dealers will give you a hard time.
I heard they are cracking down on warranty claims

Really? You come on a global forum Lexus employees read, and tell us all you're willing to commit warranty fraud because you don't think it's right for them to deny your warranty after you've modified the car.
Best of luck now. The cat is truly out of the bag on this one.

Dude... the thread title or 1st post should be revised to state that you have headers. And that way you can get the proper assistance. I freaked out seeing the thread, thinking that someone's F is somehow in limp mode, only to find out that it's related to your mods. Sigh.

Wideband O2 sensors use a signal in the micro-amp range. Changing the wires in any way will impact the operation of the sensor. I learned a lot about all of this when the DIY-EFI list was working on the wideband project. These devices are very sensitive to any change. It sounds like you've got issues with the signal not getting delivered to the ECM properly. Arbitrarily extending the wires, especially introducing a connection, will definitely impact the current the ECM sees and it will not know what is going on. Was the tech who did the soldering very experienced with this task? Even a little bit of contaminants in the joint are going to cause nightmare issues.

Used something like those elektralink connectors and all is well(except o2 simulator, but that's the other thread). The limpmode came after a huge rainfall, So i'm guessing since the new connectors are water tight it won't cause problems.
