Default Pricing on F

Now that we moved and my dad ned a car we looking to get an is f but dont know whats the price on is f now. we dont care about what yr is the is f so any yr is good. I just did a quick research on craigslist the price is like 45k- 50k for an is f with 30-40k milage thats not the out the door price so if its out the door price its going to range 50-55k for a is f with 30-40k which is not a new car. I live in sf, any tips would help since im a is300 owner just want to get a little upgrade.

Craigslist would not be my first (or fifth) choice for buying an IS-F. If you want an idea of pricing, check out:
www.kbb.com
www.edmunds.com
www.cars.com
www.autotrader.com

Or your local Lexus dealership.

If you don't care about year and are just looking for something clean, you can get an IS-F for under $40K. If you want something lower mileage and maybe with some factory warranty left, be prepared to spend in the mid-upper $40s or more. There are FAR more 2008s out there for sale than any other model year.

Granted, I am in the DFW area and not on the west coast, but I just picked up an 2011 F with 7k (yes, only 7 thousand) on the clock and loaded for under 52k including TT&L. So look wisely, there are some good finds out there. At least I think this was a good find!
As vbb stated, hit those other sites as well as:

http://www.cargurus.com/

Good Luck!

I got it from the Lexus dealer. Mine was 2009 ISF with about 37k miles on it + pre-owned certified. Talk them down on sticker price!!! hahah 40k-50k out the door for used ISF under 50k miles is very possible!! have fun shopping!

I didn't say it has to be a 2012 is f n it has to be brand new. I just want a good idea on how much u guys paid for a pre owned on a low mileage is f. I know I can't get a 2012 brand new is f with 40k - 50k out the door.

I paid 36k before TTT with 22k on the clock..just look everywhere. Craigslist, ebay, autotrader, dealers and dont be afraid to make a trip of it. I bought my car in NC and drove it down to FL because around here USB ISFs with more miles were around 43-45k for me miles were most important because I wanted to extend the warranty which I did for 4 more years up to 75k miles for around 1700.

Me = 08 ISF w/ 50k miles for $37k about a year ago in So Cal. I bought a 100k-mile really nice warranty for about $2k on top of that. 10k miles or so later I've had zero issues.
