Need advice
Im thinking about swapping my 2011 350Fsport for an 08/09 IS-F
A few people have told me it would be a downgrade but honestly I fell in love with the is-fs power and I would be paying about the same for the IS-F anyways.
I just wanted to know what you guys thought about this? I would def do a 2012 headlight conversion bc I also love my LEDs but I cant afford to buy a 2011/2012 IS-F.
thoughts anyone?

All depends on what your after. Completely different vehicles with the f having more advancments than the 350 has, and where it counts. In my opinion you'll lose a few cosmetic changes but gain better performance. Those that said your downgrading are just looking at the book cover.

Upgrade: But I'd shoot for at least a 2010 if your coming from a "11. You don't wanna get rid of a low milage car for a higher milage one. The "10's and newer have subtle interior changes, Mechanical LSD, Streaming BT audio and cooler rims

^^^^ I agree. Performance, looks and feel are all expected to be different (and a major upgrade) but things like loosing the newer version nav./audio system but be a bummer. I think I would try for a 2010+
We have been thinking of trading our Acura TSX for a GS or RX.
When I drove the GS it made me appreciate my ISF that much more. It's a great car but it just felt big and heavy. I think if the F is what your after you will be happy.

Yeah I would only do the swap if I got an 08 for the same price as my 11 350, I have found quite a few, talking to a few people so it might happen. I love my car and would love the F too

I don't think swapping an '11 350 F-sport for an '08 F is a downgrade, but you will be giving up a newer ride. Personally, I would switch. There are far fewer IS Fs on the roads, which is always a nice feeling. Also, should you go with the 08 NM IS F, you'll definitely want to look into an extended warranty. The 2010+ has the LSD and revised suspension, along with some interior enhancements, but 2008 certainly still has just great a feeling when driving. Also, if you do get the one in your earlier post, see if the owner still has his original NM wheels. Best of luck!

I was thinking the LSD came in '10, but the suspension changes didn't come until 2011...
But anyway, you should "f" the f-sport and get an '08 F and get some BCR coilovers for $1k and you'll be glad y swapped!!!
Btw the pics you have of the black "nieman Marcus edition " have the wheels of a 2012 model...... Not the '08-'09 style wheels with polished edged "blades" like the nieman Marcus edition have....
