Right after I start my F and the gauges light up, the battery meter shows 11 volts. Then, a couple of seconds later, it goes up to the normal 12 volts. Is the normal? Or does this indicate my battery is getting weak?

I just replace my car battery few weeks ago, and this happens to me sometime when i start up the car...so I don't think the battery is weak or anything probably just the voltage reading on our cars.

My battery has been well-used and it does this too. It's normal!

A good indication of a failing battery is when the needles on your dash don't do a full sweep at ignition.
