I have a 2011 M3 sedan with the competition package and a 2012 ISF. They both have about 750 miles right now. My M3 is a 6 speed manual. The M3 has a more comfortable ride because it has the adjustable dampers. The throttle response especially in sport mode is much sharper in the M3. The rest is comparable but different. The brake pedal feel and steering feel I am still getting used to. They seem equally quick. They sound completely different. You expect the M3 to sound the way it does but the ISF sound comes out of nowhere and surprises you. I can't decide which I like better. I need to dial in the tire pressures on the ISF. I don't think the recommended pressures work too well for me right now.

Last I checked, besides a '08 US import going for $39K, they're still asking at or above the $45K range here. If you can get it for $35K for a Canadian car without significant accident history I say go for it.

Would be nice to see one more on the road here (vs. the one a month rate I see now). (Just saw a white one today driven by a lady.)

I have an '08 and got the '12 headlights. It's $1200 when Sewell has a groupbuy but if you're shipping it across the border add higher shipping cost and expect duties on it once it gets here. (Non-NAFTA duties too) And then there's the installation.

Good luck! I love mine.
Where did you get it installed? I'm thinking of picking up an F pretty soon.

A friend helped me. Also you should do a search on the ISx50 board if you're serious about it. $1200 is for the headlights only and you'll have to swap over your bulbs and ballast over which is quite a bit of work. If you want to spare yourself the work, get the full set for $1800 I think and includes everything and is a clean plug n' play.

Your ability to provide a side-by-side comparison of these vehicles is something that alot of members would be interested in and pretty unique. Please post more as you learn more about differences/similarities!
