Default Should I sell my stock parts or hold on to them?

So I have slowly been upgrading the ISF with aftermarket goodies.

And I have things starting to pile up.

Do you think it's wise to keep a hold of the parts just in case something happens, or would I be better off in selling my old OEM parts?

I do plan on keeping the car for a while but you never know!

I would say......keep them. I did the muffler/cat delete and still plan to keep my parts so I can get them welded back on when I am ready to sell. Who knows, you may have a change of heart and want to upgrade, in which case you would want to put the car back to stock, which increases resale value.

If you have the space, no question keep all stock oem parts. You won't get that much $$$ for them if you decide to sell them. Might as well keep them for a rainy day, in case you need them or have a change of heart and decide to turn your car back to stock. Much easier and cheaper to have the parts around than to go out and search for specific oem parts.

definitely keep them. If you sell your car you can profit more parting out and going back to stock rather than selling with mods.

keep them so you can put the car back to stock when you sell it and sell the parts to get some cash back.

I agree, keep stock parts if you have the space. Much easier to return the car to stock when trying to sell than to have to re-buy all the OEM stuff.

Agree with everyone else. Put it back to stock and sell AFTERMARKET parts. More money for the car and more money for the aftermarket parts.

I used to always sell my stock stuff but with my last car I kept everything...and was able to have a dealer swap out everything for free as part of my deal for the ISF. So then I had a few $k worth of aftermarket stuff I was able to sell privately...and that really invigorated my bank account after the big F purchase.

I've seen some people searching for the stock parts because they don't want to trade in with the aftermarket goodies, and people will keep their stock parts for that purpose. Almost always they regret not having kept their original parts because they end up probably paying for it later on.

i say keep them, because it's always a PITA to find oem parts esp for a low production vehicle (you may go back to stock for many reasons).
