If you've never seen a guy tear up when parting with a car, that was me. After the tune, I would just laugh when hitting the accelerator. That thing made roller coasters seem dull. It was an absolute love affair. My car actually ended up in a calendar. So, next month, I'll get to cry everyday as I look at it. I'll most likely get another one or a Porsche Turbo S when I get the Escalade and F paid off. Still a few years away.

When I had the IS 250, I was going to trade in for the IS 350, but it didn't have the "it" factor. I went with the 335i and it was more of a sports car. It had the sound, the handling, and the torque. It felt so much better than the the IS 350. My opinion only, so no flaming!

Why is this thread 5 pages. A 335i is boring and everybody has one. Who cares if its .3 secs faster...its still as common as a turd in the toilet. When you see an F drive by it deserves a double take...not just me but people always do. It's a unique sedan that's had by few

Guys one question for the 335 and the ISF owners...
The availability of torque:
Numbers suggest that the 335 torque is very much readily avail from like 1800 RPMs all the way about 5Ks? Where as the ISF starts post 3.5 or 4Ks?
In the real world, however, how does this translate? With the massive torque of the ISF, is it able to give you that "put you back in your seat" launch, which is mostly otherwise only seen in Force Induced cars?
I am not a big tracker, nor do I go crazy with my handling stunts... so spirited launches between red lights and some quick highway movement is what I make use of... Which car would better be suited for that?
Thanks!

I did, good Sir, but, because it was a "test drive" I had to behave myself, so couldn't *really figure it out. From memory, the 335, off the line *felt more exhilarating, but I don't own any of the two, thus asking the people that drove these cars day in day out...
