Telltale signs over the last 2-3 weeks were slight hesitation upon starting and my dashcam voltage cutoff monitor (Blackvue Power Magic Pro) was cutting power to the dashcam right away (indicating < 12v).
Got 11.1 volts last night and then not surprisingly it finally didn't start this morning.
Got a free replacement (has a nice 4 year warranty) at Pep Boys. Though interestingly it no longer shows the Bosch AGM Group 24 battery as compatible.
Bosch batteries are generally ****, in my experience. I've been using Costco Interstate batteries for about 7 years now, in all my cars and they seem to last. The one in the IS-F is 3 yrs old I think, and obviously has no issues. The IS-F is parked for 3-4 weeks at a time occasionally and we never had an issue with it. Like Bosch, Costco also offers a 4yr free replacement, and they're much cheaper than most part stores or the dealer.

^^^^When I sold my ISF back in July, it had a Bosch AGM battery that endured four hot Arizona summers. It was still going strong. My experience does not correlate with yours.

I don't like Costco batteries, I am a member, because they generally do not stock all sizes and will kludge the wrong size to make it fit.

I’ve had my RR racing battery on my DD ISF in SoCal desert temps of 125 degrees for 3 years now with not a single problem. Not only that but I never charge it and sometimes have the car sit for a week and no issues with the battery.

Battery is probably going to die soon, electrical meter reads 11V with ignition on - use to be 12V, looking to get it replaced, can anyone provide feedback on Exide Edge AGM?

Do you have an upgraded stereo or anything that could potentially draw more power? The RR battery seems cool but I have an upgraded stereo running 3 amps so I'm not sure if it would hold up. I do want this battery though....
And yes, I realize that the stereo is mostly powered by the alternator when the car is running. However, high powered stereos can draw from the battery intermittently at low RPM.

I'm running a NAPA AGM in my truck, since I couldn't find a comparable AGM in another brand at the time I purchased it. It's been going fine for better than 4 years now. So, I say if the Exide is AGM, go for it.

Its been a year now that we abuse the AntiGravity RS30 Restart batt. On and off the track. ISF and the Type R are using it , who ever is going to . No problem so far.

I have had good experiences with Bosch AGM on two other cars. Which Bosch AGM battery did you have on your ISF?

Bosch's website gives two S6 part numbers S6-78DT and S6521B, and ambiguously lists them at group 24 in the header page and group 34 in the details page.

Pep Boys' website cannot confirm ISF fitment for what they call the 24-710BAGM, but shows a crop of other group 24 batteries with similar dimensions and terminal orientation as fitting. Wondering about trying 34-770BAGM. More CCA's than 24-710BAGM but 1.0in shorter, 0.3in wider, about the same length.

Costco batteries are great... you may or may not have to take your own measurements to get the right battery, but the warranty is by far better than any other battery on the market. Let's just say I haven't "paid" for a battery in 12 years.

I went with a optima red top, had some issues getting the available size adaptors to work properly.
