Should I keep my 2009 IS-F, or trade for a 2013 Hyundai Genesis- loaded

Just kidding. ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
But seriously, the "this or that" threads are at an all time high these days, no?
My vote is that everyone should just keep the IS-F. You chose it for a reason, and unless those reasons or your needs have changed since you bought it, why sell now? If you don't own one, but you're shopping, do what I did... DRIVE the cars on your short list, browse the boards associated with each for known problems and maintenance schedules, then choose accordingly. Happy hunting!

This is for someone who's considering a Hyundai Vehicle. Tough call. I was planning to get the R spec 5.0 for 39K plus tax and lic, brand new, and it's a 4 door. It still was a deal. But quality wise and durability "can or might" be a hindrance. However, Hyundai offers the "best" or should I say has "by far Deeee Best" warranty out there and that's the reason why they're leading in sales.
It is your decision though.

Hyundai's quality and reputation, while on the rise, won't give most customers that level of peace of mind that Lexus has built upon over the years. But the R spec is a pretty sweet ride for the price.

I was just thinking... the ISF is the best car ever. Here are my personal reasons why:
Reliability - second to none. Tops the reliability charts for ALL makes & models.
Dual personality - quiet when you want to cruise around, loud when you want to get on it (yes the ISF is bipolar)
Auto/manual - use auto when in traffic and manual when you want to control shifts (plus 0.1 sec upshifts)
Reasonable maintenance costs - doesn't have astronomical costs for rotors/pads/tires
Rarity - Take a poll among your friends and ask them how often they randomly see an ISF on the road vs. other performance cars
Very upscale interior - Certain tidbits distinguish it from the 350
Easy to drive - Coming from 140HP... even I had an easy time initially driving the car around town or on the highway. Car doesn't jerk or immediately accelerate if you're easy on the throttle.
Feel free to add to it yall

I didn't expect the unintentional funny by having several helpful people actually reason through it with me. Thanks guys, but it was a joke. While I can respect the fact that Hyundai has come a long way over the past decade, and the Genesis coupe R spec (or whatever it is) looks pretty good both inside and out, I would never, ever trade my IS-F for a Genesis.
