I walk my cousins 997.1 Carrera 4s. the jump they made from the .1 to.2 was huge with PDK, but not as significant as the new 991.

What makes some of you think it was a non S? The non S runs low 13s and the S is good for high 12's right ?

I have raced my 911 and my IsF beats it every time in a straight line but on a track that's a different story haha

997.2 S can do high 11s.

The 911 has always been my dream car. For the price I paid for my ISF I could have had a clean lower mileage preowned 997.1 S or base 997.2. Problem is I need 4-doors, somewhat "real" rear seats and some storage space. I'm not ballin enough to have a 911 as a weekend toy right now, and didn't want a beater to drive everyday just so I could let the Porsche sit.

I will have one someday. I'd love a GT3. Nice run to the OP.

Anyways, we got one good run in from about 40- 110. IS-F jumped out by about half a car and continued to slowly creep. IS-F was about 1 1/2 car up when we shut it down. Was a good run and pretty close but the IS-F edged him out.

My car has a Takeda intake and muffler deletes. He gave me a thumbs up and complimented me on the car. Anyone else have any experiences with the Carrera's?
An acquaintance has one and he is ready to drop it for an F...the secret is out.

Don't know if the 997 carrera S (led lights) I ran with had PDK, but I was a car and a half ahead before I shut it down. He tried again and the outcome was the same. If you are talking about the track then yes it will eat the ISF, on a straight..I don't think so.

I've got PPE headers and had the KN intake on back then.

That said, I plan to get the 991 turbo S when it comes out in a few years. The turbo has always been my dream car.
