25 dollars per weld at a crappy place. 50 dollars per weld at a nice place around this area.
i can buy any exhaust system i want but i think muffler delete by itself gives such a nice sound.

For sound alone, I feel this cheap mod just over delivers. Great idea who ever came up with it. The youtube videos floored me. Sounds so nice for such a cheap modification.

Honestly, I'm so shocked how good muffler delete and second cat delete sounds. To me I see no reason to go to Joe-Z or ISS UNLESS I wanted HP/TQ proven increase.

i heard the joe Z in person, it's a bit too "tuner"ish sound for my liking. the muffler delete gives more of a muscle car sound im looking for. joe z exhaust is beautiful though and joe himself is a great guy.

I could care less about gains, 416hp is more than enough for me to get in trouble on the streets. I would love to track the beast to see how much faster the qtr mile is than advertised. Sounds sublime in my opinion, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I have the mufflers and resonator removed and I love it. It loud as hell when you get on it, but that's it. when you're cruising like a normal person, it just has a louder rumble, but nothing even close to annoying. I can drive my grandma and she doesn't say anything.
Only issue you're going to have is you're going to use a lot more gas because you keep flooring it to hear the exhaust.

My take...the JoeZ or Borla cat-back are tough to beat. It may cost $1k+ more than modding your stock setup but it's a simple swap to go back to stock if needed. And it's proven reliable, no leaks, etc..
Once you remove your cats and/or reweld stuff you'll need to buy a used stock exhaust if you ever need to undo the mods. For me that was the deal-breaker and WOW do the full cat-backs sound incredible!

uh...you cut it off, weld on a pipe in place. when you want to go back to stock, cut off the pipe you had welded on, put the cat back on, and then weld it up again...what's the problem? lol
Usually if you cut the cats off, you're cutting off only the two secondary cats. The primary cats with 02 sensors stay on the car because it's connected to the headers.
