Found this on youtube. I hope this company comes through with the product at a reasonable price.

Googling their website doesn't reveal much as their site seems to be a wip. The video is relatively recent so there might be hope.

I have been emailing the guy at D3 performance who is making the exhaust in the above video and he is cool. He said exhaust should be available in a month or so and his company will be offering a group buy and he will be a vendor on here soon. He says they will be offering a lot of stuff for the F

That's great news. I hope there will be an option for retaining the oem tips. I suggested that on their youtube video but didn't receive any response.

The email I got from him said they will be offering the system with and without mufflers, I am hoping the system with mufflers uses the stock tips. I think their prototype axle back sounds amazing, best exhaust I have heard so far, still no idea if the ISS Forged axle back is gonna happen, it was supposed to be ready by now I though

Dont like the look in the rear...I agree they need to keep the stock tips...it looks unfinished..and takes the "polish" off the look of the F (not good for such a pricey car IMO)

I am dont like the sound, sounds unnatural to me..IMO axle backs and cat-backs sound like an exhaust swap out...growling and clean & mean but natural

this to me sounds like what it is...a muffler removal ...it just sounds like something is missing making it louder...but not clean and smooth like when all parts have been replaced and the car now just sounds meaner , different, but still clean
its not a muscle car (thank God) its a high performance Luxury sedan, not a Dodge Challenger (again, thank God)

I mean no offense to anyone here at all but I am still trying to understand the concept of buying an expensive performance sedan and then wanting to "save" money on modify it???
The car note (or lease note) alone, plus gas and insurance can easily dig in to your pocket
I mean you "gotta pay to play" - when owning this car.comes with the territory.

If its just audio that people are looking for - I understand that...but in terms of just not wanting to spend because of the cost---and would rather chop up their stock parts as an alternative-- I mean really!?? with an F??but again to each his own. no offense.

Chopped muffler sounds really good. The stock muffler is massive and removing it opens up the true sound of the car. I had removed mufflers for a few months and enjoyed the sound and ended up removing my midpipe cats and it made it sound a bit deeper.

This is a prototype exhaust and not a finished product so I doubt the fit and finish of the exhaust in the video is a final product

People delete mufflers and cats on all types of cars including exotics. Just do a search with "muffler" or "cat delete" on YT. Porsches, Lambos, Ferraris, etc. I'm pretty sure people who do that aren't worried about cost. It's about sounding unique (besides performance). I think the muffler/cat delete definitely makes the F sound unique from other F's. Does it sound like a muscle car, yes. Does it sound like any other Mustang or Challenger? Not quite.

True ...and I did say that if it is for "sound pleasing" purposes then I can understand that.
But in the video the guy suggested it as an alternative as opposed to spending money on another exhaust system.
and for that matter everyone here who bought this car in the year it was built spent some nice amount of dough on it - so no need to reference Lambos etc and what they are doing...we all obviously are in a pretty cool financial situation to even afford the "lowly" Lexus' we have (lol)

just my opinion...I wasn't really feelin deleted muffler/cats sound ..but we all have our opinions but its all good

+1

i wouldn't say its me trying to be cheap but i honestly listened to all sound clips and heard a few local exhausts on the ISF and the muffler delete sounded really good. it does sound like a muscle car. but doesn't muscle cars have a high liter v8? ours sound a bit more "tuned" if that's the word . like VtotheJ said, its more for the sound...and if there is a muscle car sound coming from a lexus, its just so sexy IMO. but when it's time to start adding power mods, i prob will move to a full exhaust for the power but i wish i can keep the same sound.

I think u guys are missing the point, not only the after market exhaust sound nice and deep tone and aggressive but added more hp. When u pair it when after market header and intake that another beast itself. Also the sounds of that all bolts on simply best sounds and performance . But if u only want just a sounds alone by no mean go right ahead chopped up the mufflers. U going to be bored very quickly , and f when u added in header and is going to be very loud and drone
