Default Hardcore Tuning in the ISF (the sound system)

Yesterday, the boys from Rockford Fosgate flew in and brought some equipment to help me tune up the new system in the Lexus. We used a "6 mic array" and of course some trained ears. After spending about 7 hours on it, we decided to call it a night. After a while, your ears are just fatigued. We hit up again about 9am this morning with some fresh ears and now it sounds stunning! I love it!! I really want to thank Rockford Fosgate for flying out, tweaking on my car, and teaching me some lessons in SQ. I am a student in this game but man, nothing beats a killer sounding system.

Here is some pics. I made a little video too but i have things to do today, can't edit right now.

here is what is in it (FYI Rear doors are installed but i unhooked them for better imaging)

too much bass? what do you have? 6 18's?

even if you did all you gotta do is turn it down some. Problem solved.

Wow bro that is a LOT!! LOL -

seriously, if its too much for you, i suggest you find the setting that says "Bass" and turn it down some. If that thing is making so much sound that you think you have too much bass, your mids and highs are probably not up to par. It sounds like you upgraded your woofer and not the rest of the system.

good mids and highs will make a big difference. Even re-amplifying the stock mids and highs will make a difference since the factory amp is so weak.

If you aren't really that into your sound and just wanted a lil' more bass then factory, thats totally understandable. Not everyone cares or wants a better system. But if that little thing is "too much" for you, instead of downgrading to 8's or something even smaller, just turn the subwoofer down and be done with it. It would be a lot easier

if your system is stock, you won't be able to tell the difference in clarity at all (more then likely). But the ML system doesn't start to go into distortion until 45 (iirc) on the woofer and mid 50's on the front end.

In January, I will be at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas for CES...the IS-F will be in the 2nd floor ballroom with Rockford Fosgate. Anyone who wants to hear it, come by and see me. Forget boom boom bass (which i love too), come get your mind blown by the quality.

ANYTHING you want to hear, my system will play with precision.
