Those are some nice rides. Looks like you had a blast.

For those who were following my Toyo tires issue last year, I'm pleased to report they are actually just fine.

They r fine but very dusty. They make a nasty kind of dust that clogs the wholes in the rotors which leads to over heating and weak performance.
I noticed my rotors were completely coged. I had to clean the wholes with a pin.
Anyone faced anything like that?

I'll switch to Carbotech soon I still have one more session on them.

They all do that, and no, it doesn't make them overheat. I use a 5/32 drill bit (4mm) to clean out the holes after a track weekend. The holes do nothing to enhance cooling - they're an appearance only item.

I did not know the holes had no effect. Do slots or dimples have any affect on performance in your opinion?

Yep, it's true. Blanks are better. It is perceived that crossdrilled equals high performance, so that's what sell and put on high performance cars. Even Brembo has a disclaimer stating that drilled rotors are not recommended for track use.

Yes. Slots wear out your pads faster. I have no idea why dimples are popular, but they only reduce swept surface area and reduce available mass for absorbing heat.

If you really want the brakes to run cooler, the only thing we can do is run ducting to the center of the hat, but there is already a duct from the front into the wheel well, so you've got cool air getting to the brake area. Ducting would just provide a more positive cooling flow. The bad news is, the ducting takes up space, and can get pretty easily damaged if you have an off track experience.

I would never, ever consider ducting for street driving.

Went back on track this morning. The track was wet after an usual for Dubai rain!
We are not used to rain and certainly not used to driving fast in the rain.

I was very tempted but still didn't drive. I got my money credited towards my next track session.
I had my semi slicks tires and really didn't want to drive in the wet.

Many brave guys didn't mind the wet and went on! Many of whose have got full slicks!

Took some pictures.
