Default Just bought an ISF - Australia

Hi guys just joined the forum as I have a 2010/2011 update ISF arriving in a couple of weeks (only 15000km).. I just sold my Audi RS5 as it wasn't suitable for work due to being a 2 door, prior to that I had a C63 and M5. All were modified. Looking forward to the ISF.

Looking at getting coilovers (amongt other rhings) from what I have read on here BC, Megan and KW seem to be popular, I am looking for lowering and ride comfort only as I don't go to track. Any advice greatly appreciated as I am still learning about Lexus.
Thanks in advance

C63 AMG
RS5
M5
and now IS-F?

Wow man, we're going to need you to write up a comparison/review describing what you like about each. Those are all very nice cars! Hopefully you find the IS-F to be the best of the bunch.

If your not going to track the car why bother with coilovers. Id save the 3 grand and just get springs...

If you need a 4 door for work, why did you get the F? The rear seats are too cramped but for small adults and kids.

Congratulations, you'll love the F. It's a great car stock, but to wake it up, you may want to think about some exhaust work. PPE headers would be a great place to start. Lexus of Chatswood is the sole Australian distributor for RHD PPE headers for the ISF. Then, of course, some exhaust modifications. I could go on and on. But, do a search. This site is a plethora of knowledge about the ISF.

Because coilovers are adjustable to your liking, can corner balance, will not blow as fast as springs on stock shocks etc.

And BC Coilovers are only $1000 and KW's are only $2000.

Congrats on the F! You've had quite the list of performance vehicles, and to add an IS F to that list is pretty amazing. Enjoy it!

Thanks guys for the positive comments.
I've always liked the ISF but have ended up buying other brands, C63 was a weapon along with the M5, the RS5 though needed to be driven hard to get most out of it plus not the best car for work and also i hated te seats as i just couldnt get comfortable. I thought the ISF was the pick at moment as it has the power and comfort without being ridiculously priced.
Will do some mods in coming months.

Welcome and enjoy... My buddy has the 2012 S5, while its a great car, still has nothing on the ISF. I know the S5 is slower then the RS5. He also complaines about the 2 door. I also really do not like the Nav/Phone/Radio in the car. My M3 had that same **** to control everything type of control. The Audi is really hard to understand.... LOL.....
