I got the deal of a life time. I bought a 08 in June 09 that was a Corp demo, had 10k on it and paid 37,500. After mods I'm way over 50 three years later haha. Never have had a hickup.
I bought mine October 6, it has the fully upgraded ML system and dealer was asking 68k, was able to get it for 62,500. ( Also had all the little things the dealer could throw in, locking lug nuts, cargo net, trunk mats, clear bra on trunk cargo area but not the front and they wouldn't throw that in, F key gloves, first aid kit and a car cover )
There are 2 IS-F's at the Lexus dealer in Utah. Still at Sticker cost 66k and no budging.
I stopped and talked to Sharyl Noble and drove the white ISF. She said that they was some room, but not much. I didn't even drop the idea of $10k off. LHM Lexus doesn't like to haggle much...
I traded in my 2009 IS F for a '12 because the ride and handling felt so much better. I bought it on 08/26/12 and got $39k trade in on the '09 (not great but about what I expected) with a little under 27k miles on it that I had purchased as a certified pre-owned Lexus and also negotiated $2.5k off the MSRP plus a 50% discount on the extended warranty and 3M film for the front. I also got 3.99% financing on the portion I still owe so all in all, not a bad deal but certainly the dealership would not consider even $5k off the MSRP. I am also pretty sure that the '09 had been in an accident even though I bought it certified pre-owned. My wife was all for buying the '12 so it's all good though as my son feels that, after breakin, the '12 sounds better and feels seat-of-the-pants faster than the '09.
