2008 w/ coilovers or 2011 plus stock
Been thinking about adding coilovers to the 2008 and also been thinking about holding out and getting a newer model. Question: which would handle-feel better? 2008 with coilovers or the newer isf suspension system?

If you can afford it then going into a newer model is the way to go. Things are improved enough that you won't be complaining. If you don't really want to spend much and just want "better" than the 08 setup then get coilovers. Personally I'm looking at the BC's from Figs which his recommended rates.
If I had the money I would jump into a 2010+ for sure. The LSD, LED headlights, new tach, and the suspension improvements are all worthy upgrades IMO.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm just your daily driving spare who's good for 25k miles per year. I've heard rave reviews about the coilovers and the new suspension. Love my 08 but man hitting some of ruff spots on the road can be a little jarring. But i didn't buy the isf for the smooth Cadillac ride either. I'm just torn between modding the ole car vs. getting a prettier newer one.

Wait for someone to sell their setup off of a newer car. The only coils I have experience with are tien basic and KW. KW's were amazing! Basics were basically a back breaker with only the option to lower the car. If your just looking for comfort I would say get a set with damper control and find what setting suits your liking.
