Haters, Vandals, shattered sunroof. yay.
my 2009 IS-F. happened on my employer's lot. no surveillance cameras. (although, they are now looking into installing them after my incident and after apparently, others began coming forward w/ their incidents of being keyed, having windows smashed, etc.)
so, be careful out there. i guess the holidays brings out the best in people, huh?
on another note, i was surprised that the sunroof completely shattered like this. the glass is quite thin. car is still being repaired.

Probably some young punks destroying stuff for the sake of destroying it. It sucks that your out the deductable but It's a car and its still repairable. Don't let it destroy your holiday.

yeah, i was pretty pissed when it happened (last thurs) but i'm over it; just want my car back in good working order. what blows is right before thanksgiving, a water pipe in our home burst, leaving our kitchen w/ soaked walls and ceiling. another expense out of pocket bc the deductible is was a grand and they will increase the premium for 5 years. damn thieves!!!
i work in el segundo, the property is part of LAX.
guns? haha nah, not my thing. but would have loved to have caught the punk doing this!
yes, very lucky i had the sun shade drawn! that would have been 1000x worse.

So unfortunate that there is such a lack of respect for others. But what goes around comes around. They'll get what's coming soon enough. Sorry about the house we well. It's definitely hard to enjoy the holiday with address unexpected expenses, especially ones that drain the savings and time.
