Can't believe my quote!

FLAT RATE! Though sometimes it works in their favor...sometimes not. They had my IS F for an entire week when they replaced my transmission. I believe I was billed for 12 hours of work. Gotta think of it from the dealers perspective, they want you in, and out, so they can get another car in.

FWIW you can meetup with almost any other ISF owner (if you need the help) and install any intake yourself. It's SO easy, really. You'll be done before you finish your beer and I'm really not trying to make a joke.
For a cat-back install I found a reputable shop that normally charges $75 but they struggled a bit and I paid $100 for the extra time/effort. They were extra careful and had some issues with my 50k mile bolts and O2 sensors (I wasn't able to get my O2 sensors off myself).
I know headers are a huge effort...I've heard people mention $4k "headers installed" before due to the labor hours needed. So $2500 to me is definitely a lot but if this is at a dealer it should get done right. I would ask them how much for just the headers to see what they may be charging for the intake and exhaust which you can have done elsewhere.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Yea the intake and exhaust I can do myself...I did the intake, fmic/piping, cmc, and exhaust on my evo I'm just being lazy. I'll def give tuner works a call tho about the headers and may as well let them do the exhaust while they're under there.
