Default Trade in 2012 Isf for new R8 v10

I am getting an unexpected great deal on a new v10 R8 6 speed. I need to make room for it so I think the only car I can eat rid of is the isf unfortunately. It only has about 1800 miles. I feel guilty not giving it a fair chance. I wish I could keep them all. I will post if I actually go through with it. Tough decision when I have to let these great cars go. A really good forum too.

Glad you enjoyed it, even for the short time you had it. Your stable of cars is insanely good, and that V10 R8 will make it better. It is kinda funny that the only reason you're getting rid of the ISF is that you literally have no space for it!

Crazy list of cars. But the OP does have good taste. The R8 is a hot ride. Looks great, and certainly has the power to back it up. Enjoy it!

Default 2012 ISF gone

I had a great drive to pick up the new R8 V10. The ISF had to go, have no more garage space.

I missed the ISF when I bought the new M5 so I bought it back. I traded it in for the R8 V10 6 speed manual. All I can say is wow. The V10 R8 is incredible. Sad to say - I don't miss the ISF as much now. You guys that have the ISF are lucky, it is/was a great car. I will keep checking back on this forum.

Good Lordy!! I'm in the wrong business! Great set of cars you have!!! I only dream of owning one of them at a time!! Haha.

So I have a few questions to ask..... I've pretty much decided to bail on my IS-F because I want something more "fun".

I miss a gear box so much it's stupid.

I've been thinking swaping to one of the following and just wondering abiout your first hand experiance.

07 997 turbo 6 spd
08-09 m3 6 spd
1 series m - if you can ever find one

Last one the list is the GT-R (I think i'll have the same problem with this, I'll miss the gear box)

I like a car for being a little "Raw" and that's what my supra's were. I really think i'll like the 997 but if I do the 997 it will be my DD, as I won't get another car.

The other option was to keep the IS-F and pick up a light turbo charged toy....

TT-RS was something I kind of looked at as well or a s4 but thought they were too heavy....

your thoughts?

If you want driver involvement you can't beat the 1M or the M3 V8. The throttle response of the M3 is great because it is not a turbo. The 1M is obviously more nimble - perfect in the ride handling department but really hard to find. The TT RS is amazing, also very nimble and feels lighter than the 1M. The 997 turbo is also great but there is a little bit of lag but you can mod it I guess. I think the M3 with the NA V8 is probably the best compromise. Now you know why I have so many cars. You might consider a 997.2 Carrera S or GTS. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Well if your trading your IS-F only for the v10 R8...that's great news for us current and future owners. The IS-F is definitely a good car, and the praise that you gave it with the stable you have confirms that.

Enjoy the new R8 and the rest of that amazing stable your growing down there haha

Drive safe!!
