Hi Lou,
What is the area on that crush bend?
I just did a rear cat delete and fitted 63 mm straight pipes and the car felt much stronger than previous.

I am also thinking of replacing the two pipes that go to the rear silencers/mufflers with 63 mm pipes.

Will I still have the restriction of the crush axle bend?

^^ This thread is old but to answer your question, you will still have the crushed y pipe. To eliminate it, you need an aftermarket axle back exhaust or have a shop custom a yipe for you.

stock exhaust is near silent. way too quiet for a 5.0L V8 imo

Question

Hello Guys, i know the thread is old but iys full of good info'z.

My Question is i have ISS Des full cat back, and its has drone from the rpm range 2k to 3k , being driving the car with my family its a bit anooyoing .


What is the soulations i can do to lower the level of drone in terms of the exhaust??

I don't have a borla but i measured my tips and found the proper silencers for my exhaust. I hope you find it well.
