Vais XM tuner issues
Guys just checking to see if I am the only one having issues with my vais XM tuner. It works sometimes and then sometimes it freezes and doesn't act like I have XM at all. It was in the car when I bought it. What was the most popular place to install the XM tuner?

I had mine installed last year. I have had the XM cut out probably 2 or 3 times, but usually not for long and I just have cycled through the modes and when I got back to the SAT, it was working. One time, I believe, I had to turn off and restart the car.
The main issue that I have seen is that the VAIS unit does not seem to utilize the speakers as well as the regular radio. I will put the radio on FM and I get a true surround sound feel with a fantastic sound. The SAT setting sounds like 1 speaker right at the radio. I don't hear anything from behind or around me. It is quite a noticeable difference. Has anyone else noted that?
