Default New Rear View Mirror

So I had my rear view mirror replaced today due to excessive vibrations. I just used the TSB to get the new mirror cause I was annoyed of the rattle it made. So when i go home to reprogram the mirror with my garage door links it wont work.

My question to all you people that had your mirror replaced were the steps to link it with your garage doors different.

Also when I press one of the buttons it does not blink red, it just stays a solid red.

let me know what yall think. Thanks

I had the mirror replaced and the steps were the same to reprogram it. Just follow the steps in the manual step by step.

Remember you have to hold down the button for a brief moment, not just press it.

Did the replacement mirror actually fix/ resolve or do anything (especially when the stereo is cranked)?
I have avoided this as I like the look of the original mirror (buttons on the bottom) and put up with vibration.
......maybe I am missing the boat on this one?

Okay so i figured it out after about 30 minutes of playing with it I got it. No matter how long I held the button down it would not flash. I eventually found a Remote for the garage door and held it near the mirror and started pressing the button and got a slow beep. I kept doing it until I got a fast beep. It would not open the garage door at this point in time so i figured i would go try and hit the learn button on the garage door opener and pressed the button twice and BAM it works.

Also the last design was much sleeker but i got annoyed by the rattle especially with a 12 inch in the trunk. This mirror is for sure a lot sturdier though. It does not rattle at all and the mirror does not give you the distorted view when the bass is going.
