Default PlastiDipped my grille last night (pics)

I got bored last night while drinking some Blue Moon, eating pizza, and killing nubes with my MSMC on COD BO2 - so I decided to PlastiDip my grille since I have 5 cans in the garage which we use on the pre-runner for off-roading purposes. I know a lot of you are going to say it looks cheap blah blah blah (which some of you have already done via text ) But it was quick, easy, and easily removable in the future if I don't like it later with no money down the drain. I used 5 layers and I think it looks great and came out great - how it holds up, I dunno - I drive A LOT!! Thought I'd share it with you guys.

any overspray would have wiped right off - thats the beauty of plastidip - if I would have used regular paint i would not have dared to paint it while on the car!

Nice, maybe when I get tired of GETTING owned by people tonight using their MSMCs on BO2, I might plastidip my grill too. I'm thinking I'm gonna keep the surround silver and paint the rest. My thoughts are that it would match the silver trim around the windows, and my polished lip on my wheels. Not sure yet.

I don't think it looks bad at all. It contrasts the Starfire Pearl nicely, and like you said you can always remove it in the future if it doesn't suit your tastes later on. Nothing to lose on a project like this. Good work!

It will hold up just fine, I did my grill and fog light surrounds then painted them both SGM. No rock chips and its been over a year and 15000 miles.

Did you do the whole grille or just the surround and the Lexus badge?
