Anybody for sure know the dimensions of springs used? I've had two different BC Outfits tell me both 7" and 8" lengths, as well as 62mm, 2.5", and 65mm ID's... Anyone actually measure? I was digging on this a few months ago pretty hard and didn't feel confident I'd gotten the right answer.

I just wanted to share my experience with BC Racing (entry variant) coilovers on my IS350. My purpose was to lower the car for aesthetics, not slam it, and to provide better stability during spirited driving.

My set up is 14/10 at full stiffness and honestly the suspension has considerably softened after a few months of driving. 6 months later, the suspension is very comfortable and behaves quite similar to the stock suspension--though I much prefer a more direct and track focus feel. If you want the stiffness to be retained in these cars for the long term, then go with the Swifts as they are more oriented towards track usage as the material used to manfacture the coils in the Swifts are of higher quality--allowing it to effectively preserve better tension than its BC competitors.

Now this is not to say the BCs are bad, they are not, especially if stock suspension feel--in terms of verticle body travel of the car--is important to you.
