Removed the pirmary cats on the exhaust manifold if so did you removed the manifolds to do it? how you didit? was it worth it ? noise ? performance gain ? im sorry i searched but didnt foun anyhting about this or at least what i want to know, I only seen people removing the secondaries!!! i just want to see if with the cats removed the performance is worth it

The only folks that have removed the primary cats, that I am aware of, are those running headers. If the primary cats were removed, and the manifolds left in place, you would need to replace (weld in) the removed cats with a down pipe and then weld on the exhaust flange removed from the cats to that down pipe to mate with the exhaust. Seems like a big job to me, and I don't really see the benefit. I have attached a pic of the stock manifolds so you have some idea what I'm talking about.

I actually prefer removing the primary cats on the stock headers to my current sikky header setup. Send me a Pm and ill help you out with the fairly easy process.
