OP, you would also want to get a special teflon brush for wheels and scrub them after spraying the P21S and then hose them off.

I personally take off the wheels off the car once a year and clean them by hand, then seal them.

Letting the brake dust sit there and cake on the wheels will damage the finish, and putting ceramic pads will cut on the braking performance.
