Default I dunno how you guys that store the car all winter do it!

I've had to drive my winter car for the last week and a half and have been going through withdrawals. Its 65 here today so even though I stayed home sick and don't feel 100% I had to take her out and go for a little drive to open her back up , instantly feel better!

I don't think I can go much more than a couple weeks without driving it, it hurts seeing her sit there in the garage !

I used to feel the same way when I lived in The Midwest. So I pulled my supra out and couldn't even make it up a small hill in my neighborhood.

Yikes you get caught with the summer tires?? I can't imagine trying to drive with those things in snow. i would probably just park the car somewhere and get a taxi, especially with how people up here drive.

Ya I guess I'm lucky it has been another mild winter. Honestly if I lived somewhere where there wasn't so much traffic and people actually knew how to drive in the snow I would probably just get snow tires, there is no way I'm risking it here though. My last car got hit by two different people in the span of 1 minute and did 6,000 worth of damage to her so now I am paranoid

We don't get enough bad weather here to justify having a winter car, but part of the reason I got the F in the first place was that I didn't like having one car in the garage while my "garage queen" sat all week without me getting to use it. I wanted something I could enjoy all the time, and the F fit that bill.

I did however get caught with summer tires in that ice/snow mess we had last Friday and I came really close to just parking and calling for a ride. That was treacherous. Luckily we only get maybe a couple days like that a year.

Dude last Friday was horrible up here. I don't understand how the roads were so bad for so long with only an inch or so of snow but it took me about 40 minutes to go 4 miles. God help us if we get a real snow storm this winter.

Well, it's difficult but when the roads are dry with no snow and ice, I bring her out. I have driven on 20 degree weather even on summer tires. But I make sure that I slow down on turns and entering freeways. I have driven her 4 times since winter started here in MN

Solution: Live in California and drive your F whenever you want

I live in California and don't run into this problem.

Being in NY the winter season SUCKS. I hate cold weather, I hate rain/snow and any other form of precipitation. If it snows, my F hibernates mainly because it sits outside and the snow accumulates on the car cover and it is a B to take off. Also, there is salt all over the roads and I don't want that to hit the underbody or scratch my bumper. That's probably why my mileage is so low.....my F barely gets driven in winter, only when it's completely dry.

My favorite weather to drive the F: 50-65 deg at the end of fall. No leaves, no pollen, no snow, no spiders creating webs all over the car.

I refused to take my car out after it started to snow. Summer tires rwd and 407whp not a good combo to have with snow. I ended up just stealing my moms car.

THIS!! One of the determining factors of getting rid of the GT-R. I HATED driving my RX 330 everyday. I too, wanted something fun to drive EVERY day, so I got the F. I'll pay it off and the F will continue to be my DD and then have a garage queen. Funny, my wife had to use my car for one day while I drove her Escalade and I couldn't wait to get my car back!

It's rough.... Shiny new paint job on my SC400, been sitting there for months, unused.

Every day I go downstairs and stare at it.
