Will 285's fit in the rear?
I am dropped on KW V3's and currently i'm running oem wheels with 235 up front and 275 in the rear.
I want to size up to 245 and 285 in the rear. The front is not a problem however I'm not sure if the rear would work out with this combo.
Here's what it looks like now.
i was going to go with either the Pilot Sports or RE-11 (which tend to run wider)
Also, my other plan was to stick to 275's and get 15mm spacer in the rear, do you think this option would work out as well? What if I downsized to 265's, would the 15mm fit? I don't want to roll the fenders.

IMO.. 285's look like it will barely clear or barely rub on large bumps.. from that picture angle.
15mm spacers seems like it may you to rub horribly. Its almost equivalent to adding 2 sizes up in tire (265 to 285). If you get 15mm spacers you'll need to add more camber or less tire.
Again, this is just IMO.

Plenty of people here have run 285/30R19 tires on OEM rear wheels without problems. That size is a little wider than is recommended for a 9" wheel, but it seems to work fine according to those running them. The only problem is the fact that only a few tire types come in the 285/30R19 size. The S04 is probably the best all around summer tire that comes in that size.

but IMO, yes, you can run 275/30 with a 15mm spacers as long as fenders are rolled flat. im runing re11 255/35 , def is wider than normal 255 tires, have 25 mm spacers and no rubbing or any type of noise and im lower than you. good alignment as well. 285/30, i could fit as well, im sure.

Doing the math.. FYI my rear wheel sticks out 22mm out more than his.. and with 275's I rub.
My rear is rolled flat... and my car is lowered.
So if he decides to run 7mm higher offset than me with wider tires than me and thinks he will fit without rubbing under full load, its highly doubtful.
Just pointing out facts lol.

^ I think you having coilovers has more to do with that since coilovers lower shock travel thereby adding the ability to run wider tires without any issues. 275's on 10.5+45 definitely rubs when its lowered on stock shocks.
(this is assuming we are talking about static camber and not adjusted camber)

something isn't adding up. i can add another 5mm spacer but 30mm is just rediculous, lol. i rather just buy new wheels or go with fatter tires.

reading all the different scenarios and thoughts definitely helps. thanks guys. Seems that if I want spacers without rolling fenders, 255's RE-11 would be the way to go.

I am running the Bridgestone S-04 with the 245/35/19-285/30/19 combo on my F with stock suspension with no fitment issues. Last week we Installed the same combo on a friends F lowered on coilovers, fitment was tighter, 1 finger between the tire and inside fender. He went to Las Vegas this past weekend for a Super Bowl party and their were no rubbing issues.
