Start from a 40 imo, you'll start high in 2nd gear, our car does well that way. You should be able to be just fine and run with him if you get the hit.

Id also listen to Toothdoc, the more weight you remove sekritly before the race the better.

Once your car is modded it won't be much of a race unless that 12.9 was a sandbag number

It could be a sand bag no but he is screwed just got the joe z and drop in afe and the ppe headers his up for a spank!!!

I had a 335 before the F. If its just chipped you dont have a chance until the big end past 100 but by then he may be to far to run down before the end. My 335 felt faster than my F does to 60. I had them both for a few months so I can testify doing back to back drives.

That's funny cause i've beat a tuned 335 w/o the nitrous. But a full bolt ons 335 w/ tune i needed the 100shot, but pulled comfortably on him.

well bro let me tell you , you are wrong I raced him yesterday , now i have ppe ,secondary cats deleted ,joe z and afe oiled filter.raced 5 times and beat him silly all 5 , it was no contest!!!

he has down pipes no cats filters jb4 programed and a few things more he stated he runs hi 12s and trapped112mph, he was owned big time...

Congrats! But of course you destroyed him with the PPE/JoeZ combo... that much was expected! The original question was whether or not we thought you'd beat him stock vs. his tuned 135i and I still think that WOULD have been a close race. Now, with your current setup, your car should be able to trap 8mph or more higher than his in the quartermile, which is a huge difference.

In short, you should have beat him 5 out of 5 times.

im loving my car, i enrrolled my self for the 1/2 mile event this month and ill see what im capable of doing , so you think ill be trapping in the 1/4 mile 118-120mph? because i havent tried it but this weekend i also raced a sc s2000 w 400whp and we where dead even he claims to trap 120mph, and i was like hum??? also raceda 125 traps camaro and he didnt pulled to far

I'd love to do a 1/2 mile (or even better a full mile) event. That'd be a ton of fun to max out the F in a controlled environment.

But yes, with your mods, I think you will be trapping the 1/4th in that 118-120mph range (depending on weather conditions of course). It makes sense that you kept up with another car claiming to trap around 120mph. That S2K weighs something like 900lbs less than an ISF though, so if he's really putting down 400whp, I'd have expected him to jump ahead of you and stay ahead, if not pull.

Those JB4's are no joke if that what he has. There are all sorts of different maps on those things. Depending on his mods and fuel. I think he might take you. 335 can be as powerful as a M3 with mods. of course it will be in the shop more than the track, at least from my experience with BMW.

we will robpr ,welcome back!!! well the s2000 is sc and we rolled up at 50mph i jumped he didnt but we stayed togheter all the way, he has jb4 and trust me he had no chance , i was impressed w the f
