It would be nice if someone made an affordable LHD equal length header..

This. There shouldn't be any reason for a header to be anything above $3000.. many companies in the US build their parts by hand in a small market and do all the R&D themselves for a fraction of the cost of what Novel or Icode is charging. What are they thinking when they think that these parts for upwards of $6000.. theres seriously zero justification for it no matter how much R&D is put into it.

Just the fact that Novel burned an ISF engine by tuning it and blowing it up says a lot about the money he uses after someone loaded buy their parts.

But theres always someone that buys it and since theres hardly any competition in a high demand market..why not charge it something outrageous. I wish PPE or Sikky made a Equal Length Header for half the cost and put Novel out of business for making us all look like fools.

Im sure if you run a "american style" full dual with X pipe im sure they would sound more exotic with these headers in front. The icode is made to up performance and stay close to oem in sound and quality

How many of you guys would seriously go for something like this. What I we could do something that was not made from donuts (expensive) and still shot for equal length to get every last bit of power and keep a good tone? Ti is outrageously priced but weight savings might make it worth it even more than the power. Just kicking things around.

Well if anyone was serious about taking this route now would be a good time,

With the Japanese Yen devalued by nearly 20% against the dollar this is the cheapest Japanese parts will get.

although titanium is stronger than stainless steel, i believe the resonance through the exhaust and it not dissipating heat very well causes them to fail quicker than stainless. i had a veilside full TI exhaust and it craccked in the welds. its already hard enough finding a place to weld Ti but i can't imagine this happening in the header and the headaches of uninstall and repair. i know im not the first person to see high fail rate on true Ti exhaust systems.

I would be all in depending on price. I can't really justify paying anymore than $3000 for a set.

Figs, According to the trend of demand and how parts are sold for this car.. sound is the biggest justification, more so than anything else. Look at how the Joe Z sold, the demand for Novel headers, chopped cat/muffler combo made it the most demanded modification, forcing other aftermarket companies struggling to find a sale (greddy, hks, k&n, injen etc.. all discontinued or hard to find).

This car cannot be tuned (yet) so focus on the sound and decent power gains (any aftermarket header will make a decent power gain due to superior flow over the stock headers) and you'll have a recipe for success guaranteed.

Weight, overall power (unless its substantially significant), looks and all that does not matter for a motor that cannot open up more HP unless tuned.

This is just IMO but I'm sure plenty will agree with me

I'm interested in their blower too... With the possibility of tuning around the corner I might say good bye to nitrous and have an intercooled blower in due time
